Congratulations to Dr. Annie Moroco for being awarded an AHNS Foundation / AmAcadOtolaryngology CORE grant! She was awarded the AHNS Endocrine Surgery Section Stryker Research award for her proposal entitled Reimagining Consent: Comprehension & Decision-Making in Thyroid Surgery.

We had a great showing at the PAO-HNS Annual Meeting in Lancaster. Dr. Tibbetts and David M. Cognetti, MD provided faculty lectures. Our department administrator, Danielle, represented ASCENT on a panel regarding the role of APPs.

Our Head & Neck Cancer team had a great time at our Jefferson Otolaryngology Family Dinner during the AHNS Conference. It was a pleasure to reconnect with our former trainees who are always part of our Oto Family.

Drs. Jacob Hunter and Jena Patel attended the University Hospitals Ear, Nose, & Throat Institute 2023 Endoscopic Middle Ear Course last week. Dr. Hunter was a keynote speaker at the conference and served on the Interesting Cases panel.
