In just published Communications Chemistry we find long-term porosity of solid electrolyte interphase on model silicon electrodes in contact with lithium 🔋 electrolytes by impedance spectroscopy, even under rest conditions. For details, see: rdcu.be/d39nA

🆕 paper appearing in Electrochimica Acta. Based on conductivities of different species, we find situations with high effective cationic transference numbers in soft matter 🔋 electrolytes, where associated species exist. ➡️sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
