Hard time of year for a lot of folks. Suicide Hotline 116 123 (samaritans) A simple copy and paste might save someone's life. Would 3 Twitter friends please copy this text and post under their own name

Do me a favour: if you know someone who has gone out socialising tonight, text them and tell them that I would willingly take them to intensive care in 8 days' time but there might not be a ventilator left by then, so it's up to them, really. STAY INDOORS. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

Wise words Jason Leitch (lockdown specific but applies to all decision makers) ‘Retrospect is a fantastically powerful tool. The amateur epidemiologists on social media have a wonderful luxury and that's they don't have to make the decisions’ #leadership 🌟

With all the coverage about care homes I sincerely hope that this prompts a shift in culture. That we properly value their staff & our older/frail population. It’s heart breaking to watch but I’m also angry that it has taken so long! #COVID19 #wecarehomes

Thank you Brigid. Given the inevitability of criticism, whatever we do, being defensive could be a predictable self preservation strategy however now, more than ever, is a time to be clear about our positive intentions and vulnerability to getting it wrong.

Help me find the words to describe the Mt Rushmore speech. Unhinged. Contemptible. Disguting. Nightmarish. Horrifying. Frightening. Terrifying. ... (I’d love to add “ unbelievable,” but it is all too believable.) Happy 4th. Happy Sunday. NOT.

1 of 2 Three years ago I thought I was beginning to have early signs of dementia. My memory was failing me, I wasn’t sleeping well and I somehow felt I was living on the perimeter of life. I couldn’t connect and I couldn’t express myself.
