Back in Aberdeen and as ever at this time of year, thoughts move to the families left behind and those who lost their lives on Piper Alpha. I often visit the garden in Hazelhead and think of those who didn’t return that night. It is so important that we never forget them.

Back at work after an amazing 10 days in Corfu. Stressful start with the fires too close for comfort, but astonishing response from village and fire crews who were amazing. And of course blissful views, boat trips and more Greek food than it’s healthy to eat!
