Brilliant on the podium, Dr. Stephanie Coward forecasted that in 9 Stage 3 countries, IBD incidence will reach 30 per 100,000 and prevalence 0.8% by 2025—projected to rise to 1% by 2035. A standout moment from a standout epidemiologist. #DDW2025

Uniti Jr clinical trial of pediatric ustekinumab presented by Dr Hyams. Nearly identical to adult Uniti trial of 2015. Ust now approved in Europe for children. Maybe we will have risankizumab and upadacitinib data in 2035? Reserving my seat at DDW. #DDW2025

Thank you Seb for highlighting our study on preventing perianal Crohn's disease. Early diagnosis, early treatment is the key, emphasized throughout Official TOpClass Consortium. Also important to prevent perianal disease. jamanetwork.com/journals/jaman…

Thank you Official TOpClass Consortium for an excellent meeting on perianal Crohn's disease. Multidisciplinary care clearly is important. Wonderful collaborative effort! We have made a lot of progress, but need better evidence, more high-quality research - particularly in pediatrics.
