What a night! A privilege to conduct these fantastic forces on Saturday. Vivace Chorus and VasariSingers in terrific voice, beautiful singing from Thomas NieĆer, great playing from Samuel Staples and the hard-working National Symphony Orchestra. Loads of lovely plaudits coming in!
Very good to meet up again (for the 14th year in a row!) with Richard Stilgoe at St Stephen Walbrook last night for the annual carol concert with VasariSingers and Willow Northeald, in aid of The Michael Varah Memorial Fund (MVMF). A wonderfully atmospheric and inspiring evening

Very sad to hear that Kit Hesketh-Harvey has died. We were Canterbury Cathedral together - where we recorded this album. Kit is on the far right and I am second from the left. What a talent - taken too soon.
