This idea is so cool! This would help us use new features much quicker. Would be even cooler if we could define it in css, similar to how tailwind v4 defines utilities nowadays.

It's decided, I'm making a course! I'll explain how the new Anime.js website was created by recreating the entire landing page from scratch, while sharing all the animation tricks and techniques I've learned throughout the years. Join the waitlist in the link below 👇

What a day 🤯 This morning suddenly Prisma couldn't find my env vars anymore, nothing would fix it. Eventually got it fixed by upgrading Prisma. That was a major upgrade though, having some breaking changes. Now that's fixed Turbo is running out of memory during build 😭

Okay I'm really loosing it. Now I'm back at the issue this all started with. Vercel is now doing fine, now localhost is complaining about this env var again. Which wasn't a problem before I fixed vercel 😠

It’s crazy how as an employee you can give literally everything for a company. Yet to a company you’re pretty much always just a number. No matter what. Really sad this happens. Google doesn’t realize how much people like Adam add..

The real reason why I dislike tech twitter lately. All these “I can build anything in a few hours” vibe code posts are tiring. Sure, you can build PROTOTYPES. But building a full production ready version is, as we Dutch would say, a different cookie.

The Frontend FYI playgrounds got a visual refresh — better spacing, clearer UI, and just a smoother place to build. No feature changes, just thoughtful tweaks that make it feel right.

Came across this post by 🦋 Tim Benniks on LinkedIn. It reminded me of the “early” days of web development. Sure, it was a lot of work to get stuff right — yet it was SO satisfying. Got great memories of this time.

Now GSAP is free, that also means their amazing and versatile Split Text plugin is free too 🔥 Just experimented with it to see how well it integrates with Motion – and I gotta say, this works GREAT! Check the link to the playground below.

Exploring OpenAI's Codex a bit. First thing it complains about is me leaving in a placeholder readme and fixing that for me. I like it. It's super accurate too.
