Are you considering using hydrologic signatures in a large dataset? Uncover potential pitfalls and learn from our failures. We documented guidance on using signatures based on our collective expertise in this commentary Hydrological Processes. Check it out!! 👀📚 #Hydrology

Have you ever thought about using your #soil #moisture #data at different depths as a #metric to analyze the #hydrological #response of #catchments? Here is the idea! dx.doi.org/10.1002/hyp.15…

Back in Las Canarias for our 3rd (and last 🥲) field campaign for the #BIOACUANA and #CONACAN projects, funded by Fundación BBVA and Parques Nacionales (OAPN). On Day 7 now in La Palma, we spent the day in the “Caldera de Taburiente” National Park 🏔️🥵 sampling #macroinvertebrates communities.

Today, day 8 of our sampling campaign, we went to the "barranco del limonero 🍋", guided along the narrow path 😬😱 by Tomás, expert in "salto del pastor". A long day, full of superb scenery 🏔️and disconnected pools full of aquatic life! Inst. of Environmental Assessment & Water Research IRTA @FEHMlab

Very grateful to have been able to share some thoughts about the drought affecting Barcelona and Catalonia, today in France Inter’s 13/14 (In french…😁🤷🏻♂️ from 31:46 to 47:20) Inst. of Environmental Assessment & Water Research France Inter radiofrance.fr/franceinter/po…

Nice people and good science!!! Thank you Daniele Penna @IljavM and many others for this 4 year watson-cost.eu adventure in the world of isotopes…WATSON Cost Action #isotope #water

Are you interested in setting up a new #experimental #catchment? Here is a 10-ingredient recipe! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/hy… Thank you to Doerthe Tetzlaff for her positive preliminary advice on this #commentary and to @jmcnamaraboise for his great editing support!

Rainfall exclusion experiment underway! Sap flow sensors, dendrometers, soil water content and potential, … soil and trees sampling for isotopic analysis. Eagerly awaiting the first results! #VallcebreResearchCatchments #ecohydrology #isotopes Jérôme Latron Inst. of Environmental Assessment & Water Research

We had a nice flood in the #VallcebreResearchCatchments in the last couple of days. …Many samples to collect from our 12 automatic samplers during our next visit 😅 Inst. of Environmental Assessment & Water Research
