We were delighted to host Minister for Special Education Michael Moynihan TD for a visit to Edinburgh & Stirling last week. This visit included engagements with Cab Sec Jenny Gilruth , Edinburgh & Stirling Councils & meeting parents, students & teachers in inclusive education schools.

A particularly poignant award to Fabian Greenan, who was recognized posthumously for his contribution to culture in Scotland. He was the force behind the establishment of a Comhaltas In Britain branch in Ayr, as well as a former GAA coach & player. Fabian sadly passed away last month.

We were delighted to host Minister for the Diaspora Neale Richmond to Glasgow this week including meetings with Angus Robertson & leader of Glasgow City Council Susan Aitken. He launched NAOISE, a network for Irish academics, with Royal Society of Edinburgh , Susan Aitken & guests from across 🏴 1/2


Neale Richmond hosted consultations with community groups across 🏴 on our new diaspora strategy. We hosted an event celebrating the Irish community, marking Glasgow's 1st SPD parade, St Roch's winning the Fleadh and Ceann Creige Hurling and Camogie Club reaching the All Ireland junior camogie final
