A special evening at the House of Lords for our ‘It Starts in Salford’ celebration. An inspiring gathering of leaders from business, politics, creativity, and beyond—highlighting how University of Salford is enriching lives regionally, nationally & globally.

We’re on a journey, day 1: home to Le Shuttle.

Nearing the border to Switzerland, lovely scenic views. Nice to not need a coat in the evening.

Arrived in Austria, great journey so easy to travel in Europe.

Such beauty in nature, feeling totally in awe of the power of this landscape, survived a first day of skiing and enjoying the amazing hospitality of Austria.

Feels like I am in Hansel and Gretel kingdom. Just missing the sweets 🍭. Loving the detail of the architecture.I think I could happily live here.

I made it to the top of the mountain. James Bond style dinning as we treated ourself to a mocktail in the 007 bar. What a view. Thanks to all the amazing wonderful skiers who helped me up it was worth the view.

First day solo skiing, had a fabulous time,

Last day on the slopes, learned lots, met lots of interesting people, seen some amazingly talented kids. Now sat in beautiful sunshine. What a journey!

Austria, Switzerland and France in one day, great hotel in Metz.

Just loved this hotel on our amazing adventure. Would like more info on where the frames are from, loved the repurposing.

My pup got a year older today, we celebrated by going to his favourite beach, he loved it and so did we.

Red, white and blue what does it mean to you? Celebrating and remembering VE Day.

How wonderful they are spectacular, shows the skill of the pilots. I would be terrified flying that close.

Cup of fruit tea, love having tea cups, celebrating my daughters last day of School before GCSE begin. Where have the years gone. good luck to all those entering the exam period whatever the level. Keep calm and carry on, you will be fabulous!
