My statement on today's ruling. First and foremost, to all other trans people: look after yourselves.

Solidarity with trans women after today’s Supreme Court ruling. The rollback of LGBT rights — especially trans rights — is global, bankrolled by billionaires and the far-right. Trans rights are human rights. We must defend the Equality Act and its protections for trans people.

Teachers have been punched, kicked, shoved or spat at by pupils in the last year, according to a new report. The survey by teaching union NASUWT shows 81% of teachers believe children's behaviour has become worse, with 60% of threats of assault with a weapon coming from pupils
