With the deepest regret but due to my ill health, need for surgery & recovery I will step down from Nursing and Midwifery Council shortly It's been a privilege to be the Chief Executive & Registrar for 800k nursing & midwifery professionals working on behalf of the public I'm gutted I can't continue
