In today's Irish Examiner we check into Townhouse on the Green, Dublin's newest boutique stay. Read our full review in Weekend or here irishexaminer.com/lifestyle/trav…

Congratulations to the 2 newest Irish entries in the Michelin Guide, Daróg Wine Bar in Galway and The Coach House in Roundwood, Co Wicklow.

Friday saw the Examiner Eats Club take over Good Day Deli for an exclusive subscriber-only dinner. Such a fun way to enjoy good food with good company. Our food team (Joe McNamee and leslie williams) is already busily planning our next event. Stay tuned! irishexaminer.com/food/arid-4148…

Breaking a bone in my foot 13 days before the Irish Life Dublin Marathon is ridiculously bad luck. A hard pill to swallow after almost 5 months of training. Stay safe out there, runners.

Calling all Irish food producers. I'm working on an Irish Examiner gift guide and would love to include delicious non-perishable Irish produce that can be giftwrapped for Christmas. Please email your pitch with high-resolution photos to [email protected] RTs welcome!

"Cosy, intimate and charming, this Meath hideaway has real feelgood factor" Food & Travel Girl • jillianbolger.com reviews our new addition TheStationHouseHotel in the Irish Examiner irishexaminer.com/lifestyle/trav…

It's a year since my festive stay at Ashford Castle. While I'm not there this Dec I'm home sipping their Tippy Earl Grey (yes, milk in mine!) in their beautiful china with paula stakelum's sublime chocolates. What a lovely way to kickstart the festivities. Thank you Ashford Castle!

Lunch with Jay Rayner was one of my most memorable assignments. He took me to his favourite Chinatown restaurant where we chatted food influencers, Michelin stars and the one word he daren't use to describe food. Read in my Irish Examiner interview here: lnkd.in/eufCbwjJ
