Pattern overall remains blocky and very slowly progressive hence the large rainfall forecasts for the south. As next part of the southern low evolves later this week into the weekend we get more of Florida into the deeper moisture with the upper feature anchored over the north

Even though the rainfall isn't going to wipe out central and south Florida's drought it will help other parts of the state and other dry states on the east coast. The set up does add some water to the soaked lower MS Valley watershed, but the heaviest rain should be east. It
