Our positioning of STEM as a silo from humanities failed us even more. You can’t be a great economist without an understanding of history. You can’t be an impactful architect without a solid understanding of society.

IWD is a political event. And so, when I see women post nonsense such as this, I know our society is failing to do the barest minimum: making sure (literate) people are curious about seeking knowledge rather.

The solution for the rest of us - inevitably - is for us to build our own countries and protect our prosperity and sovereignty so that we don't have to go to oyiboland and get threatened with deportation every 5 minutes for holding political beliefs.

One way you can tell these are definitely bots is they try so hard to get Ghanaian pidgin right and fail badly with the most common of Ghanaian pidgin terms or phrases.

What is Kalyjay on? His position is making it obvious what these meetings have been about. African youth really need to do the painful work of studying the history of underdevelopment of African economies. That consciousness is only the beginning of Africa's economic freedom.

Josephine Agbeko (@jo_agbeko) 's Twitter Profile Photo

It's not, actually. But, of course, to remotely understand this, you need to understand your history of empire, conquest, slavery, colonisation, neocolonisation, and imperialism. That should make for a great beginner's lesson.

You people need to take yourselves seriously in this city. Not many people do dubious businesses. Even your target market thinks this is overpriced. It is. There are better experiences for less.

What use is it to be born to a life of perpetual misery orchestrated by enemies of State and contingent? Look in the mirror.

Josephine Agbeko (@jo_agbeko) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This response is actually laughable and spiralled into what it shouldn't have been. And I cannot believe it's all over the simple chore / responsibility of taking out the trash.

Josephine Agbeko (@jo_agbeko) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Coloniality and its siblings may change face, but we don't need a torch to recognise them. If you're unwilling to integrate into the actual Ghanaian community, what's the essence of your immigration. A mini colony won't shield you from the socio economic ills of underdevelopment.

Josephine Agbeko (@jo_agbeko) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This is laughable. Being anti-colonialist is a consistent resistance against the *systems* that perpetuate colonialist ways of being, even if it were by our own folk. Ghanaians have always spoken against gentrification led by European, American and Asians alike.

Josephine Agbeko (@jo_agbeko) 's Twitter Profile Photo

David Hundeyin blocked me. Ah interesting. I guess people don't like their authority on issues to be challenged. You cannot fight a system when you nitpick what others should or shouldn't accept. You can be wrong sometimes and that should be okay. Selah.

Josephine Agbeko (@jo_agbeko) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I can try to understand the first statement for its merit. However, it's fallacious to think society's rich men neither perpetuate patriarchal systems nor subjugate (their) women. This analysis is counterproductive analysis and shouldn't be encouraged.

May we raise our daughters with wisdom knowledge and understanding of how the world can steal your common sense. May we not be found wanting in Jesus name.

Maybe the government needs to consider bringing back State departmental Malls like Kingsway, UTC and GNTC. When there's competition with state enterprises giving reasonable prices and people troop there to buy from, the exploitation will cease.
