I have just finished reading the incredibly moving book “A hope more powerful than the sea”. A must read for all. I cried a river of tears at the injustice of it all. Amazing work by Melissa Fleming 🇺🇳 and such inspiring courage, Doaa Al Zamel.

A big shout out to all the people who have made positive impacts during this difficult time. Hospital staff (fortunately i have not had to have direct experience of this but from what I’ve read and heard) who are working in very difficult circumstances and at risk to themselves.

Having read amelia gentleman’s powerful book (The Windrush Betrayal), I went on to watch the heart-breaking movie, #sittinginlimbo. It was so painful to watch at times, I cannot imagine how much more painful it must have been to live through. May justice prevail.

Just finished listening to Adnan’s story by rabia O'chaudry. Beautifully written and beautifully narrated. Heart-breaking at the grotesque failures in the legal system. But very moving. Adnan, may your liberty not be far away. #FreeAdnan

Just finished listening to Where the Children take us Zain Asher what a powerful story, beautifully written and narrated - always even lovelier listening to an audiobook narrated by the author. So inspiring.
