NAESP members—principals and assistant principals from across the country—and Weyanoke Elementary staff—principal Felicia Usher and her faculty and staff—are hard at work weeding, mulching, and building playground equipment at the Alexandria, Virginia, school. #NAESP23

Every year, we invite students to introduce our keynote speakers. This year, Kennedi Daniel, a second grade student at FortFooteElementary, joins us to introduce opening keynote speaker Houston Kraft of CharacterStrong. With young leaders like Kennedi, our future is bright! #NAESP23

She did a FANTASTIC job! One of my favorite aspects of the conference is the students introducing the keynotes. They are the perfect reminder of why we do what we do! #NAESP23
