A very important conversation. I'm glad Lexi was able to represent Dartmouth Health Children's on this WMUR TV panel. Learning to drive is an important step toward independence for teenagers, but it's critical for parents and teens to talk about and practice safe driving.

It was an honor to address my NH Hospital Assn colleagues at this year's annual meeting, and address the challenges ahead in 2025 and beyond head-on. Congratulations to our Dartmouth Health staff and board members recognized during the meeting!

This #VeteransDay, I'm grateful for our #veteran colleagues at Dartmouth Health, who translate their #military background into compassionate care to our patients. Our health system is enriched by their dedication. I thank them and their families for their service and sacrifice.

For me, #Thanksgiving is an opportunity to reflect on what’s important and the many things I’m thankful for. In addition to the health of my loved ones, I’m thankful for our Dartmouth Health community, especially those caring for patients this holiday weekend. #HappyThanksgiving!

When my husband was dying from cancer, grocery shopping was one thing that helped me feel normal. But for some families, treatment leaves little time for normalcy. Healing Harvest Food Pantry is one of many ways Dartmouth Cancer Center lightens the load for patients & their loved ones.

Last week's #GivingTuesday was a big day for Dartmouth Health. I'm humbled by and grateful to all who contributed to the life-saving and life-changing work our teams each day. As an academic medical system woven into the fabric of our communities, we wouldn't be here without you!

It truly seems like everyone I know and encounter is or has been sick this month! We still have a lot of winter left ahead of us, so take Dr. Wang's advice that she shared with NH Public Radio and take the steps that we know work: mask when appropriate, and wash your hands often.

As Dr. King said: "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." This #MLKDay and all year long, may we remember the power of our voices to denounce what is wrong, stand up for what's right, and create a more just society for all. (📸 The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center)
