The word Eid in Arabic originates from the verb that means "to return," symbolising the essence of coming back to what brings meaning to life, namely, moments of joy, unity, gratitude, and purpose. Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed Eid filled with love, peace, and light.

Carbon sinks and fish habitat being blatted, legally, and chronically because of the inability of our government to differentiate between high and low impact fisheries, and manage them accordingly. It’s depressing and pathetic. The SNP Scottish Greens Mairi Gougeon Lorna Slater

Protected areas in Orkney have been damaged by scallop dredging numerous times, because MPA's are paper parks. Please let's be honest about this, and instead get legislation in place which is fit for purpose and which actually protects ecosystem services for community benefit.
