🚨 Our democracy is on the line 🚨 From dismantling essential protections to making it harder for people to cast their ballots, the president’s  attacks on democracy are nothing new—but I’m not going to stand by while he tries to rip away Michiganders’ rights.  We have to stay

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, I want to take a moment to celebrate YOU. To the women leading, innovating, fighting for justice, and breaking down barriers—your impact is felt every single day. Women have always been at the forefront of progress, and we will continue

If we want to make Michigan the best place to be a kid, raise a kid, and call home — I need your help. 💙 It may not feel like it, but the 2026 election is around the corner and whether it’s making calls, collecting signatures, or helping get voters the information they need,

This is what we need more of in this moment: leaders willing to stand up (literally) to the bullies and the billionaires attacking our rights and freedoms. Thank you, Senator Booker 🙏🏼. nytimes.com/2025/04/01/us/…

The power of the people will always be greater than the people in power. From Marquette to Holland, Ferndale to Lansing more than 40,000 Michiganders showed up this weekend to demand “HANDS OFF”. Hands off our health care, our jobs, our rights and freedoms.

wsj.com/economy/the-fi… The backbone of Michigan’s economy, the U.S. auto industry, is already feeling the impact of these reckless taxes — and who will feel the impact most? Hardworking Michiganders.   The rising costs of goods and corporate greed is resulting in layoffs and

As a former educator and daughter of two public school teachers, I know firsthand how important it is to give our kids access to a world-class education.  As governor, I’ll make sure funding is going where it matters most to help students master the basics and ensure Michigan

I oppose the SAVE Act, a bill where if you have changed your name or do not have a passport you may be turned away from voting. This bill will make it harder for the 80% of married women who have changed their name, and the 60% of Michiganders who don't have a passport to vote.

I’ve heard it from families in Alpena, in Hillsdale, in Marquette: they want what everyone wants. Good, well-funded public schools. A roof over their heads they can afford. A doctor who doesn’t live three counties away. And housing they can afford with a job that lets them stay

I’m grateful for the support of the Association of Flight Attendants in my campaign for governor. Sara has been a great friend to me and I’ll always have her back, just like she’s had the backs of Michigan’s flight attendants! Unions built the middle class in Michigan, and
