This week, we passed legislation allowing Missouri Farm Bureau to provide additional healthcare options to underserved rural Missourians, and we banned foreign money from influencing our elections.

Missouri law blocks pregnant women from finalizing a divorce—even in abuse cases. HB 243, led by Rep. Cecily Williams, would end that, giving women the right to leave unsafe marriages.

Jackson County is the only MO county with an appointed assessor. Voters deserve a voice and accountability. I sponsored SJR 35 to require ALL Missouri assessors to be elected.
