I never thought I’d write a book. Honestly, I’m more comfortable telling stories in person than putting them down on paper. But after a lifetime of hockey, from playing on frozen ponds in Smithers to winning Stanley Cups, I figured maybe I had something worth sharing.

Flyers fans, don’t miss out! I’ll be on the concourse during the last regular season home game on April 15th vs. the Blue Jackets, signing and personalizing copies of Thundermouth. 📚 It’s the last game of this season where I’ll be selling books, so I hope you can stop by!

Do you know why I dedicated Thundermouth to my mother Mary? She was my first and most devoted fan, always cheering me on from the stands and supporting me through every step of my career. She was also the number-one supporter of hockey in Smithers, where it all started for me.

Happy birthday to Reggie Leach! Did you know… Leach was nicknamed “The Riverton Rifle” after his small Manitoba hometown and for his shooting ability. He joined Clarke and Barber on what became known as the LCB Line, the most prolific scoring trio in Flyers history.

I’m sad to hear the news about one of our original Flyers, Ed Van Impe, who passed away on Tuesday. There are too many great memories to fit into a post, but what stands out most is the way Eddie played the game with determination and grit. Rest in peace, my friend.
