Over £183,000 raised for primary schools in NI via Asda’s Cashpot For Schools initiative. It was great to meet local schools in Downpatrick this week who are benefiting, and well done to Kilkeel PS who raised the second highest amount across the UK! Paul Givan

New funding coming soon from the Asda Foundation focused on young people’s mental health. On Thurs 27th Feb, the £500k Young Futures Fund will open, to help groups deliver activities for young people (13yrs – 21yrs), helping to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Great to attend the excellent National Farmers' Union conference today. Stop the Farm Tax definitely top of the agenda, and Rain Newton-Smith CBI highlighting that farming is a “foundational sector” in the economy.

The Ulster Farmers' Union annual ‘farm to fork’ schools competition, part of Open Farm Weekend, and supported by Asda, is up and running. It’s open to all Playgroups, pre-school, Nursery, Primary, and Special Schools, and attracts thousands of entries each year.

In Parliament today, Robin Swann MP and Lord Elliott, along with Cllr Roy Crawford Photography/Cllr.Enniskillen (DEA), joined with Asda as they celebrated 60 years in the UK - providing thousands of jobs across their stores.
