We “conditioned” twice a week all summer by doing strides on Tuesdays and intense, minimal rest work on Thursdays before a 3 day weekend. Been doing this for years. Our kids are resilient and ready to go when they need to be. Still really fast and powerful, too 🤷‍♂️
