Out of school achievement: Huge congratulations to year 8 Blaize T who participated in a JiuJitsu super fight in Brazil at the 'THF 18' over the weekend. Blaize won in 53 seconds! making waves in Brazil. Well done Blaize, we are all very proud of you.

Out of school achievement: We are delighted to hear that over the weekend year 10 Amelia C and past pupil Holly H participated in a 5K 'Race for Life' on Saturday, raising over £450.00. A brilliant achievement whilst raising awareness of Cancer Research. Well done to you both.

This week we welcomed James Aidoo to our year 10 assembly. James spoke to our pupils about academic resilience, emotional intelligence and student aspirations highlighting his own dynamic journey that saw challenges and changes.

English trip to Stratford upon Avon: Students have visited Shakespeare's Birthplace and enjoyed some time sight-seeing around the marina.

Mrs Jackson and Miss Robert's have taken some students who take part in Alternative Curriculum (outdoor learning) on a trip to Pole Green Nurseries to buy some plants, herbs and gardening supplies. Pupils have chosen their own plants to look after and watch grow.

Well done to all the pupils who presented a 'One World' assembly this morning to year 8.

This week we invited pupils to wear clothing that represents their cultural origins or faith, or clothing that means something special to them. We also invited them to bring in food that represents their culture and share this with us and their friends.
