I’m hearing MPs are being reassured that their issues / concerns with the assisted dying Bill - such as Royal College of Physicians Royal College of Psychiatrists saying it’s not safe - can be ā€˜sorted out in the Lords’. MPs - if you do not believe that the Bill as it stands on Friday is safe, don’t vote for it.

MPs, please take up this kind offer from a friendly, eloquent expert in palliative care. Please be informed before you take vulnerable lives into your hands at Friday's vote. Many doctors happy to do likewise, including me The Labour Party Sarah Coombes for West Bromwich @alexballi

mol.im/a/14820209 via Mail Online How patronising of Fry to think intelligent women can't understand this issue: JK Rowling wasn't "radicalised by TERFs" (thanks for the slur). He weeps over "mocking" of activists but seemingly missed the death threats they send!

Dignity in Dying can afford to spend £60,000 in three months on Facebook ads. Three times the annual income of the National Downs Syndrome Policy Group who are utterly drowned out. Do MPs even care?

I completely agree with Baroness Berger here. It has always been my view that I would vote on the detail of the proposed legislation, not on the principle. From the start, I had major concerns regarding safeguards & role of the doctors. These concerns have not been addressed.

Hysterical women with their bigotry and gullibility and monstrous ideas and their ability to fundraise and win rulings at the Supreme Court. What are they like? Could they not just stick with simpering and fretting about mascara?

I've now lost count of how many articles Susan Dalgety, I and, by proxy, our 32 authors have been in for not being at the Edinburgh International Book Fest... So - at this point all I can say is - buy/lend/borrow/ask your library to stock the book... amazon.co.uk/Women-Who-Woul…

Happy 7th birthday my dear friends For Women Scotland šŸ“󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁓ó æ You couldn’t look away when you saw women’s right slip away. You needed a hero, so that’s what you quietly & diligently became - thank goodness you did! To 3 wonderful women who’ve supported, empowered & inspired so many

Calling women who won a case to confirm women have rights based on their sex "anti-trans" - high principle. Calling the above "anti-woman" - a dogwhistle. Some people have spent so long listening for dogwhistles that they can no longer hear themselves, let alone anyone else.

Happy Birthday to the wonderful women of For Women Scotland who have changed the course of Scottish and British history with incredible courage and tenacity and against the full might of the state & its policy captured lackeys.

My statement on today’s vote on the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill. I’ve raised concerns throughout about the lack of safeguards, the impact on vulnerable people, and the absence of funding for implementation. I will be voting against the Bill.

Very pleased to have the voice of Marlyn Glen, elected to Holyrood in 2003, and her reflections two decades on. "I quickly realised that the closer you get to what you might think of as the centre of power, the further away you feel."

Vote on the third reading in the House of Commons on the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, a majority of 23 at 314-291. Thank you to all those who have argued lucidly and who voted against the Bill, although in the end dissent did not prevail

It doesn’t matter what his views are on the Assisted Dying bill, the PLP should have found a way to allow Adam Jogee MP to stay at home with his family and make his vote count. Every Labour MP who refused his request for an informal pairing should hang their head in shame. As for the

Run this past me again. Dan Norris MP, suspended on suspicion of child sex offences, gets a vote by proxy on Assisted Dying bill; Adam Jogee, whose father in law is dying, is refused same option…because??? Surely this can’t be right šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

So offended by all this dismissing of ā€˜middle aged’ women for their audacity in speaking out for women. Truth is I am not middle aged. I am old. And (shock horror) STILL have opinions. šŸ’ššŸ¤šŸ’œšŸ’ŖšŸ’Ŗ
