Just did my Thursday radio segment with Drew & Mark from my kayak - in between bass - and 6:10 am water skiers 😯😩😞

Something about boys.. and a pier. Should’ve written a chapter about that in Cast Away. Many of my favorite memories happened while fishing off a dock. Calvin & Josiah built a lot of confidence in being able to cast, set hook & reel in bluegills on their own now

When we moved in at Delavan Lake- folks told us to flee the insanity on July 4th weekend- so we did. Apparently it’s worse than they described.

When you retire- it’s like a vacation. So when you vacation while retired- it’s like you’re cheating 😀

July is worst time to fish walleyes on Wisconsin River- but I broke away from the vacation crowds & tried my old routine. They’re still there. Gotta go when the jet boats & duck boats are resting.

I used to make fun of Wisconsin Dells. Now I really like it. Don’t really know what happened. 🤷‍♂️

Well now I’ve seen it all. Finally went to Ishnala - the consensus #1 supper club in Wisconsin billion yrs running. No one complains about the 2 hr wait. Nothing else comes close to this masterpiece 😯☝️
