83k cycle today to Killeagh and the Midleton Greenway with Tim McCarthy. Interesting to see that work is progressing on the new Greenway by Carrigtwohill. Eventually this will link the section by the Elm Tree to Midleton.

Making the most of the long evenings... Thurs 10th Apr 2025 - 55km hilly cycle to visit the Kilbrittain whale and Timoleague Abbey. Lots of quiet country roads with blue skies and sunshine.

73km cycle today with the Dahon Mariner 9 folding bike. Cycled to Kent station, train then to Midleton and then cycled on the Midleton Greenway to Youghal. Plenty of people bringing bikes on the train.

77km cycle on Sunday from Kinsale to Kilmurry and back, route number 25 from Dan MacCarthy's 'Cycling Munster' book. Passed by the old railway station at Upton which might become part of the new West Cork Greenway in the future.

Annual cycle from Passage West to Millstreet using the Old Butter Road. Took in the old Butter Exchange in Shandon, up Blarney St and then in a straight line taking in the Kerryman's Table along the way.
