Great to meet the East Grinstead Lions and PCaSO volunteers at the weekend do 1,000 blood tests for prostate cancer screening and to take advantage to get one done myself! A very efficient and friendly process, painless too! Many thanks to everyone involved.

Great to help organise our 3rd Ashurst Wood Bonfire torchlit village procession & firework display with live band on Saturday. We raise funds all year round to create a free community event and the feedback from residents has been so positive. Thanks to everyone who supported us!

Out campaigning today in Warwickshire, I’ve never seen so many Christmas decorations out in houses on 23 November. Perhaps it’s just Warks folk have been so good this year they really can’t wait for Santa!

Following the very disappointing Conservatives election results after knocking on thousands of doors across the country it was great to reset back in East Grinstead with the Mid Sussex Marathon, a town council surgery & compering Ashurst Wood bonfire society’s quiz last night

At the May Lions fair in East Grinstead this morning, so happy to see the stationary engines back this year after insurance/ safety issues😬the care their owners take to display the engines is huge. If you’re local do come along, fun for all the family. And miniature train rides!

It was an honour to be elected East Grinstead Town Mayor last night alongside my deputy Stephanie Reeves. My fund raising will be for Age UK EG and the young leaders of EG District Scouts. I look fwd to serving our community, huge thanks to Steve Ody for a brilliant mayoral year.
