‼️Friends, this is very important. Please share this and send the information to media. The United States stopping the supplies of critically important air defense missiles and other weapons is a matter of life and death. If Ukraine runs out of missiles for air defense systems,

Did you know when scientists first warned congress about climate change, the oil industry started paying scientists and lobbyists to lie and say it wasn’t true in order to confuse the public. It worked. All here: PBS’ The Power of Big Oil pbs.org/wgbh/frontline…

We need to stop trusting the experts.” Alright then. Let’s see where that gets us. 👇 Don’t trust the pediatrician who spent over a decade learning how to keep your sick child alive. Don’t trust the pilot who trained thousands of hours so your flight doesn’t end in a fireball.

Sadly, this what we can expect more of as climate change gets worse. More extreme weather events combined with governments, warning systems and infrastructure that are not prepared for them. #ClimateCrisis

The space rockets guy blew up 12 of them, took $38 billion in subsidies, cut pediatric cancer research and does enough ketamine to kill a horse. They both belong in prison.

Last week Aidan Morrison wrote a long thread criticising my weekly renewable simulations. There were so many mistakes in Aidan's thread that it will take a long thread to address them all. Read along if you're interested. /1 x.com/FootnotesGuy/s…

Anyone telling you this is ‘just summer’ is either shilling for fossil fuel interests or has believed the lies of someone who is.

What we must do immediately: 1) End the use of fossil fuels 2) Build massive amounts of solar & wind 3) Electrify everything 4) Localize 5) Conserve 5) Find solutions for the last hard stuff (planes, cement) 6) Stop cutting down forests #ActOnClimate buff.ly/3r2I3Ee

Europe's reliance on fossil fuel imports funds autocratic regimes, creating a dangerous vulnerability. The transition to clean, homegrown energy isn't just an environmental goal—it's a national security imperative.

Wind critics can no longer claim wind turbines kill raptors. Wind farm bird protection tech a success, with no new eagle deaths and barely a dent in revenue reneweconomy.com.au/wind-farm-bird…

Renewables are now showing that they do reduce electricity prices. This will get even more obvious as the technology gets cheaper and more widespread.
