Senate Republicans are cutting taxes for hardworking American families.   Senator Jon Husted: “In places like Ohio, working families will get at $2,100 tax break.”

Democrats’ LIE: This budget bill cuts taxes for the rich. TRUTH: The bill taxes the rich at the exact same level they were taxed under Biden and a Democrat majority, and it rushes tax relief to working families.

There’s a big, beautiful, Chuck Schumer lie about the budget bill floating around, but here’s the truth: Republicans are providing tax relief for American families with a pro-business, pro-family bill. And the Democrats want to tank it.

Republicans’ budget bill will make America SAFER and more PROSPEROUS.   If Democrats had succeeded in torpedoing this bill, the average Ohio household would lose $2,140 to higher federal taxes.   Now, hardworking Ohioans will see their take-home pay increase instead.

I’m grateful that Ohio firefighters, steelworkers, suicide prevention supporters, and civil liberties advocates joined my recent Husted Huddle to make their voices heard.
