The Blazers held a media avail this past hour for their new coaching hires. Steve Marr's parents live in Kamloops in same house he grew up in. His brother runs a law firm in town. Lots of connections remaining. Toma not as familiar but will integrate over the next few months.

Part of this process it seems is to get more adaptable to younger players. Clouston says "I can be firm and hard if it calls for that, and today's players just need some extra support, have a chat if need be. These two are very personable guys."
