Doing my quarterly American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Qs... They gave us ONE whole extra minute! Because THAT makes it realistic to everyday practice 🤮. Just 5 years ago, HFpEF was described as the “stepchild” of HF with no approved therapies. Today, there are 5 US FDA therapies: ✅ Empagliflozin (#EMPEROR) ✅ Dapagliflozin (#DELIVER) ✅ Sotagliflozin (#SOLOISTWHF) ✅ Sacubitril/Valsartan (#PARAGONHF) ✅ Finerenone (#FINEARTSHF)
