Has anyone else had problems with condensation on sensors of Andor cameras e.g. Zyla? We have had two cameras fail in this way, and are being told this is expected and normal, and told that it is standard that we should pay for a regular and a very expensive "service" of camera.

Happy Birthday to our very first President Maureen Duffy! A trailblazing author and humanist, Maureen was one of the first openly lesbian women in British public life. Her courage to live authentically paved the way. Here she is in 1967, bravely speaking about coming out. ❤️

They killed his family members, burned down his hospital, murdered patients. Dr Hussam Abu Safiyeh in his last photo prior to abduction confronting the tanks of the enemy. Have you ever seen courage like this? Have you ever seen cowardice and cruelty like that of the enemy?

Enough at last! Lets all now reflect on what we want next & whats' the only way out of this misery in Palestine & Israel. Peace is inevitable, freedom & equality to all from the river to the sea is the only way. Despite the pain & anger, we must not let it cloud what is clear.

Geoffrey Hinton says the more we understand how AI and the brain actually work, the less human thinking looks like logic. We're not reasoning machines, he says. We're analogy machines. We think by resonance, not deduction. “We're much less rational than we thought.”

A powerful close to the day, Session 3 explored key ethical and legal issues in healthcare, from dying with dignity and data privacy to evolving consultation models. The message was clear: patient rights, informed consent, and ethical leadership must guide our path forward.
