Not be left out, Aditya Srinivasan, MD, MPH made it to the podium today at the South Central Section of the AUA to present work done alongside J. Nicholas Sreshta, MD, FACS in bladder neck reconstruction after failed TUIBNC. Great work!

In my 17+ years with UTMBUrology I don’t recall an South Central Section of the AUA with more contributions from our group. A testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire team: residents, faculty, students, APP’s, coordinators and admins. Congrats to all!

Enjoyed hosting the residents for their annual holiday gift exchange. Gifts ranged from practical (stovetop espresso machine) to questionably urology themed (still trying to figure out why anyone needs a banana washer)

The DaVinci standard robot (the system I learned on) displayed at the #AUA2023… in the urologic history exhibit. Does this mean I’m old?

Last case today with graduating chief resident Daniel Phillips. Bittersweet but always gratifying to send another talented urologist out into the world.
