Today family, friends, mourners and veterans attended the funeral of Eastbourne's last WW2 veteran Eric Deach. Eric died last month just days short of his 100th Birthday. One of those there I spoke with recalled her last conversation with Eric during which he said to her, "I

🎖️It was an indescribable honour to serve as a pallbearer accompanying #Eastbourne WWII veteran, the late Eric Deach, on his final journey alongside his veteran family. RIP Eric. 🇬🇧 You were a gentleman and our country owes you an eternal debt of gratitude for your service.
