16 men come through halfway on 2:03 pace at the Boston Marathon, including Mantz + Young. We're going to have some rough finishes with the Newton Hills still to come, but conditions are nice for running so we could see a few guys hang on to run fast. letsrun.com/forum/flat_rea…

Reed Fischer (Reed Fischer) ran a strong race. Unfortunately, a runner ahead of him grabbed his 30k bottle which had a negative impact on his race. Still a very respectable 2:12:40. #BostonMarathon adidas Running tinmanelite

For context, I was going to post how Sara Hall took a big swing and wanted more, but having been on this journey as long as I have, when a master's athlete and mom who won a national title in high school, no less, still has the ability and drive to rip a 1:10:08 SPLIT at 13.1, I

Final: Padres 4, Yankees 3 The Padres put together a furious four-run rally in the top of the 8th on a wet night in The Bronx, with Manny Machado and Xander Bogaerts delivering huge swings. San Diego has won six games in a row, and improves to 23-11 on the season.

It’s incredible to watch how fast and explosive Fernando Tatis Jr.’s swing is to the ball. Tatis gets his foot down too early, adjusts as the pitch is coming, and then proceeds to blast this baseball 430 ft. with 109 MPH exit velocity. Special talent.

Whenever others told longtime player and broadcaster Jerry Coleman he was a hero for his military service -- he was a Marine Corps aviator in World War II, and in Korea -- he would thank them but respond that no, the heroes are those who didn't come home.

Bats have been quiet but nothing that batting around in the seventh couldn’t cure. Some disciplined ABs, clutch knocks, and guys doing their jobs. Let’s go Pads! Good guys up 6-4. #ForTheFaithful
