Nice day Florida FFA convention with Florida GCSA GCSAA FTGA. Great meeting so many young minds interested in Agriculture and introducing them to turfgrass and golf course management.

Nice start to aerification week. Greens verticut, mowed, topdressed, aerified, cleaned, and rolled. Processes on rest of course started as well. Hoping for cooperative weather.

Day 2 of our maintenance closure is in the books. Accomplished a lot. Tees aerified, verticut, and mowed. Hole 18 curfewed. Bridge abutments replaced.

Closure day 3. Wrapped up fwy aerification, verticut, and mowing. Procored all collars and approaches followed by verticut and mow. Poured the last of our bridge abutments. Recently converted to celebration tees looking excellent.

Day 4 of closure. Anything worth doing once is worth doing twice. Toro Golf Procore aerifying greens again. Spot applying COMAND.

Day 5 in the books. Applied Harrell’s LLC 15-5-15 wall to wall. Scalped down the clubhouse island. Prepped some tee tops for celebration conversion. Team is kicking butt and Mother Nature is helping.

Closure day 6. Mow and go. Letting the team recover some over the weekend.

Sunday mowing. Straight lines coming soon. 🤣

Taking advantage of a rainy day. Too wet to be on the turf so removing damaged cart path.

Sandman came today. Greens are healing nicely. Now time to smooth them out.
