My Friend Ahmad is still in the north of Gaza. They have no food, they are in constant danger and it is really frightening. People in Gaza do not deserve this- if you can contribute to his gofundme please do. Hopefully soon he will be able to try and live his life with his kids!

ever known a wider gap between media coverage of Starmer, which presents him as a serious figure doing his best in difficult circumstances, and the all but universal contempt felt for him among the general public. Soviet levels of disconnect between official and private worlds.

Wild isn’t it: clearly McSweeney, Reed et al have been actively bragging to multiple journalists about how brave and smart they were deliberately crashing their party to defeat against Johnson and his disastrous Brexit plan but nobody can speak openly, because they all helped.

Quite something that 172 Labour MPs tried to oust Corbyn because his backing of Remain was lacklustre. That, in 2016, meant he was insufficiently committed to migrants rights and liberal values. In 2025, *zero* MPs will try to oust Starmer following an Enoch Powell speech.

Patrick here explaining that Labour are inflexibly and ideologically committed to a series of very right wing policies. You’ll recall that the mere suggestion these people were Tories was said to be insanely extreme, lunacy so bad that it was completely off the charts.

It is self-evident that Labour's sharp rightward pivot on immigration will do nothing to win over anyone currently planning to vote Reform or Tory. But it will do two things: a) Dramatically harm public services b) Legitimise the politics of Farage and his pals

If Britain feels like an island of strangers then it’s not because of migrants, but inequality. Everything of value is eroded, social lives included. No one can afford to eat out with friends, visit family by train, or whatever. We work, shop at Tesco, pay rent, and that’s it.

HE DOESN’T BELIEVE IN ANYTHING he just wanted power and now wants to stay in power for its own sake. He is surrounded by people like him who neither believe in anything nor know what they’re doing. Please just accept he lied to you, he lied to the members and lied to the country

Just came off LBC to talk about the Prime Ministers speech. We had racist riots on our streets last summer. Rather than fix the real problem - inequality - he's happy to dance to Farages tune. Disgusting. He should apologise (& actually fund public services!)
