Great outing on Monday with grandson Robby and world class fishing guide Chris with Headwaters Outfitters in Rosman, NC. Fishing was fantastic on the E. Fork of the French Broad. Robby caught lots more than me, however, he’s a really good fisherman.

If trees could talk! The iconic “Burnside Sycamore,” located next to the Burnside Bridge at Antietam National Battlefield, is one of the “witness trees” from the Battle of Antietam in September 1862.

Maybe, just maybe, all is not lost… Kerr County Sheriff Leda—best known for targeting immigrants—just announced he’s applying for green cards for the Mexican rescue team that saved his family. The irony writes itself. Maybe the regime should take notes: immigrants save lives.
