Hello, this is very interesting. How do you handle copyright issues? Do you have a list of the works used for training, and did you contact the authors to ensure that they were willing to have their content used? I have attached the Open Access statement for your own paper...

On October 21, a M5.8 earthquake struck the Molucca Sea, Indonesia. We've avoiding writing about these kinds of earthquakes, because the area is so complicated, but this time we decided to take a stab at it. Link in my bio.

A M4.7 earthquake in Death Valley this morning caused light shaking - one of the biggest quakes ever recorded in the valley. We look at the data, and find that none of the mapped faults really seem to match. Is there a hidden fault beneath Death Valley? Read more on our blog.

A M6 earthquake struck offshore Oregon yesterday, causing light shaking. Although the Pacific Northwest does face the threat of great earthquakes from the Cascadia subduction zone, this earthquake was on a different fault, and was not dangerous. Read more on our blog.

If you’re still on the fence about voting in this election, think about what really matters – about the values we were taught, the kind of country we want to be, and how this is a moment when your vote really does count.  Your vote could determine the fate of our republic – the

Did you feel the M4.8 earthquake in Hawaii a few hours ago? It is part of a long-lived swarm, thought to be associated with a surge of magma intruding below the island. We wrote about the swarm last February, when a M5.7 quake occurred in the same area: doi.org/10.62481/d846e…

A M6.2 earthquake struck offshore southern Chile earlier today. The location: near a triple junction, where the spreading center dividing the Nazca and Antarctic Plates subducts beneath South America. What's going on down there? Read more on our blog; link in my bio.
