Current read from Catherine Taylor - the landscape of #thestirrings was both familiar and strange to me as an eighteen-year-old from the south of England at University of York in 1983. This is bursting with events I watched from the sidelines. Takes me straight back. Terrific.
My newest newsletter features an interview with Judith Heneghan about her newest novel, #BIRDEYE. Very insightful about writing, place and life. Salt Books @Legend_Times_ caroleburns.substack.com/p/interview-wi…

Wise words on reading at events by Judith Heneghan in The Author, journal of The Society of Authors I might add, if your book is funny at all, choose a funny bit.
Final tweet - a quick rave about Birdeye by Judith Heneghan. I loved so much about this novel but especially its setting in the Catskill Mountains and its honest exploration of mother/daughter relationships. A beautiful book to savour from Salt Books
