Really interesting workshop on reducing pesticides in agriculture hosted by German Institute for Agro-ecology & Biodiversity. Pesticide-free production is a third way (not organic) with a high price premium in Swiss and German markets.

Meet Chris Duller. He hasn't written a book, doesn't do social media and isn't on YouTube...and talked the most sense of anyone I've heard recently on soil management. Hoping to bring him north soon for some Organic Research Centre sessions Newcastle University thanks Thom Washbourne @ahdb

Looking forward to tomorrow's LEAF workshop on cover crops. Amelia Hood & Tom Sizmur will be discussing our codesigned research from the SHOWCASE_project project & I will be discussing citizen science biodiversity monitoring. Innovative Farmers wrap up with a codesign session 👍

I'm at it again... Trying to add some nuance to the till/no-till debate. As ever, it is not simple and depends on your local context. I suspect I'll offend people across the spectrum from traditional ploughers through to hard core no-tillers. Listen and let us know what you think
