Florida linemen have been working around the clock to restore power to residents across the Bay Area after Hurricane Milton. Almost a week after the storm slammed into the state, thousands are still without power. fox13news.com/news/video-lin…

So, going by TECO's claims, there's now almost one linemen for every home without power; but we still haven't seen a single truck to repair the line around the corner... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Tampa Electric WHY after I report a total power outage (not back since storm) does your map say NO outage??? I have reported it at least 7x only to have it later say no power outage again but to find out there IS NO POWER! Day 8!! I am 20 mikes away and have to drive there!

Tampa Electric plz explain how it is day 8 no power and we haven’t seen any linemen in our area and our power is still out! Is 11:59pm today still the estimated restoration date? This is madness

TECO Tampa Electric has not been to our property at all to fix damaged poles and lines. Apparently doesn’t care if they make the deadline tonight for all customers.

And now surely TECO Tampa Electric will say DM me for help but we did that this morning. NO PROGRESS. No ETA for power restoration. They really don’t care about the last 10,000 customers who need to have power restored in Hillsborough County.

Tampa Electric how many crews do you have on the ground? What is the plan to return power to ALL of your customers? We deserve answers. No victory lap until the work is done. WFLA NEWS Jeff Butera Scott Taylor Times Publishing Co. @hillsboroughfl @janecastor

Good news for feminist book history! A team led by JulieREnszer has built a dataset with metadata for all articles and issues of Feminist Bookstore News (FBN) from 1976 to 2000, published pen access at the Post45 Data Collective. data.post45.org/posts/feminist…

Dan Sinykin's Quarterly Results (@dan_sinykin) 's Twitter Profile Photo

FBN was a crucial organ for the feminist bookstore movement, which flourished in the 1970s and 1980s, fighting for women's books against what they called the Literary Industrial Corporate Establishment (LICE), as told in Kristen Hogan's excellent book dukeupress.edu/the-feminist-b…

Dan Sinykin's Quarterly Results (@dan_sinykin) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Among much else, FBN had informants in LICE who would feed information to circulate to the feminist and lesbian bookstores, helping them figure out how best to support marginalized literature.

Enszer has written a great brief piece about the dataset for JSTOR Daily. Her team is expanding with a dataset of every book ever mentioned in FBN! And they welcome volunteers to help them do it. daily.jstor.org/feminist-books…
