Reflecting on another wonderful north south teacher education SCoTENS conference #ScoTENS2024 in the idyllic surroundings of the Slieve Russell Hotel including memorable keynotes by Dr Jean Ware and John Lonergan, great parallel session on autism and a challenging panel discussion.

Sincerest thanks to both Chief Inspectors, Yvonne Keating and Faustina Graham, for their opening dialogue at the SCoTENS conference. It was an inspiring showcase of true North South collaboration and cooperation. We were honoured to welcome you both!

🦃🎉 Thanksgiving came early to MIE! Thanks to our international students, staff, and organisers, we celebrated American traditions yesterday. From a Thanksgiving lunch to tossing an American football around, it was a true community effort filled with fun and gratitude!

Today, we celebrated the end of the semester with our wonderful Erasmus & Study Abroad students from Spain, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and the US! 🌍 We hope they’ve made great memories at MIE and exploring Ireland. Wishing them all the best for the future!
