Such an interesting piece here from@research out of La Trobe News by Kate D'Cruz published in The Conversation

The Sydney Morning Herald Dana Daniel This article needs to be retracted for the gross inaccuracies written as fact. There are many public submissions which outline the current thin market, underutilisation of capacity building supports in metropolitan and remote australia, price freezes and large waiting lists

This is factually incorrect. First Contact Physio in the UK has shown cost savings, reduced stress on GP appts improving access to GP and good outcomes for patients. Royal Australian College of GPs (RACGP) President APA President Australian Physiotherapy Association Mark Butler MP

I’m horrified to read this article in the The Sydney Morning Herald today. Why in 2023 do we still have these abelist discussions about improving access for all Australian’s. I certainly hope Mr Woodhouse never requires access via the lift he currently believes should only be built for “genuine” need

I’m confused. The NDIS pricing strategy reports that pricing cap is set at an hourly rate where only 25% of service providers are able to survive at the price point. 👇👇 Bonyhady targeting 'big shifts' in review of NDIS abc.net.au/radionational/… via ABC Australia

🙌🏼 APA President It is time for evidence-lead system wide reform of #medicare. We need this to drive better health outcomes for all Australians. Australian Physiotherapy Association
