Het was een eer om, een paar maanden geleden nog maar, met Reinbert te hebben mogen samenwerken. Zelden hebben we in zo’n korte tijd zo veel geleerd. Messiaens Vision de l’Amen zal altijd onlosmakelijk verbonden blijven met alles wat Reinbert ons over dit werk vertelde en leerde.

It’s always a privilege to play at the @klavierfestival Ruhr, but yesterday evening was extra special because we played the premiere of Jörg Widmanns ‘Bunte Blätter‘ which was specially written for this concert.

We were so happy, as you can see😅, to make it to Tanglewood this year after 2 cancellations due to COVID, and play with the Boston Symphony again and maestro Andris Nelsons . We enjoyed every second, we guess 3 times a charm💫.

I am so grateful to have performed with the superb Lucas Arthur Jussen once again for the US premiere of Fazıl Say Official's Piano Concerto for Four Hands and the Brahms Requiem with our wonderful soloists, Ying Fang and Shenyang, and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus. 📷Hilary Scott
