I got to spend the whole day with staff from Ithaca Public Schools talking abt ways to use AI in their practices and with students. I wasn’t prepped to compete for their attention with sunshine and warm temps in February. Or to take a selfie with no sunglasses 🤓 Thanks for having me!

AI can’t make the perfect reuben (yet). So Ken Dirkin and I still made sure to stop by Zingerman's for a bite after great discussion on how AI should be considered in the design and delivery of assessments at the Michigan School Testing Conference hosted by the Michigan Assessment Consortium (MAC).

We brought a big team from Michigan Virtual, along with Amy Dirlam and @fossileyes, to dhsd7 to talk about a wide range of topics dealing with AI in education. Some great questions and engagement from some amazing educators - just the beginning of their journey!

This was one of the most fun trainings I’ve gotten to do in a long time. The staff at Tuscola Tech Center were so welcoming and energetic. The applications for AI in CTE programs are so varied and exciting, and this group had such good ideas as they explored and experimented.
