The Diamondbacks had a scout in Erie, home of the #Tigers Double-A affiliate, all week long, I’m hearing. Now, also worth noting, Erie was playing the #Yankees affiliate. Both DET and NYY have had interest in Eugenio Suarez. Yankees seemingly passed on a steep asking price.

Some nuggets from OC John Morton's presser this AM. . . Says Graham Glasgow is more natural at center right now over Tate Ratledge-- a lot of that having to do with GG's rapport with Jared Goff. Goal is to ~always have his 5 best skill players on the field-- we will see some

Wrote about Erick Hallett popping in my first week of camp thoughts. The young DB is filling in for an absent Amik Robertson with the first team defense this morning.

Lions ran a long practice, with their first batch of red zone work. Jameson Williams ran a route that had me picking up my jaw from the floor, while the DBs, especially Terrion Arnold and Rock-Ya Sin were impressive in coverage. Observations: detroitfootball.net/p/lions-camp-o…

Me too. It was St. Brown caliber. I've struggled to process Jamo's evolution. It's genuinely remarkable. He's gone from chaotic to precise. His speed and athleticism have always been elite, but it's now wrapped in beautiful fundamentals. He's going to be a problem.

I've always had a soft spot for Graham Glasgow because he's quirky and honest. Glad to catch up with the vet lineman today and write about a second redemption arc in the making: detroitfootball.net/p/loving-his-r…

Got my ass kicked today, so sorry for the delay, but here's your recap of the day that was at Lions training camp, focusing on a recap of John Morton's morning press conference: detroitfootball.net/p/pressers-and…

On the center battle, Campbell said we just finished two days with Graham in there and it's been looking "pretty dang good." Lions are not expecting to play Ratledge or Tyleik WIlliams in the Hall of Fame game.

Asked about Paschal. Campbell said the defensive lineman is still on track to get back to practice in early September, but will probably need a couple of weeks of practice before he's game-ready.

Aidan Hutchinson had 3.0 sacks. Blitzing linebackers felt like they had another dozen. The Detroit Lions' defense got a chance to put it all together in a full-team scrimmage on Tuesday and delivered, repeatedly. Today's observations: detroitfootball.net/p/lions-camp-o…

Ennis Rakestraw is trying to gut it out, but he's clearly playing through a lot of lingering pain from the nasty chest contusion he suffered the first day of camp. 'I'm going to always fight until my body tells me no.' detroitfootball.net/p/lions-rakest…

I went through the Detroit Lions' roster, position by position, telling you who I expect to sit out the Hall of Fame game and which players are worth keeping tabs on if you're planning to tune in Thursday night: detroitfootball.net/p/comprehensiv…

The Lions recently adjusted the contract of LB Alex Anzalone for this season, adding $250K to his $6M base salary (which they also guaranteed), plus incentives to increase his potential earnings to more for this year.

Justin Rogers | Detroit Football Network (@justin_rogers) 's Twitter Profile Photo

So Anzalone now has a $6.25M guaranteed salary for 2025. His salary would have guaranteed at Week 1, but this protects him from an unforeseen injury before then. New incentives could add several hundred thousand more to his earnings.
