Congrats Anna Hooppaw and the rest of the team. Phenylacetic(PAA) is a hormone in plants. We report that Acinetobacter adjusts PAA catabolism in response to antibiotic and oxidative stress. Levels of PAA appear to impact transcription of multiple genes. journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/mb…
